Cough cough cough
Wow, there's a lot of cob-webs to clean out in here...
I'll have to see if I can't keep them out of here a little better this time.
A lot's been going on, most of it too mundane to blog about.
The big thing is that Leah picked up Wii Fit the other day, and we've made a concerted effort to be healthier.
We're each doing at least a half hour a day on it, and we even bought Bikes.
My first new bike ever!!!!
It's pretty wicked cool. I'll have to try getting some pictures up after this weekend.
So they say that you're supposed to keep a journal of what you eat, what you do for exercise and all kinds of other stuff. So I was thinking... I've got a website for that!
So... you poor saps get to read all about me getting healthy. I bet you're over joyed!.
So, here goes... Day 1 275lbs 37.something % BMI, Yeah, that's right I'm Obese.
Did a half hour on the Wii Fit. The Yoga was kinda crazy. Strength training is probably what I'll spend the most time on. The Hula hoop game was pretty fun, as were a lot of the other Balance Games. The 3 minute run sure seemed like a whole lot more....
Went and picked up bikes at Walmart. Leah got a purple Schwinn and I got some Walmart brand full suspension one in Silver.
We got em aired up, de-tagged and took em to Dusk and Kellie's and back.
For dinner we had Mac and Cheese with Tuna and Peas from a modified version of a recipe found on a great little site that Leah pointed out to me.
The Mac and Cheese was actually pretty good for being like all low fat and healthy.
Well I think that's about it for now. I've got tonight off from the bar so we might go see the new Indiana Jones movie but we'll see. I do know that we plan to go ride the bike trails tomorrow. We'll prolly bring a camera and document the experience...
Sid out
