Gutsy Gibbon!

It's Friday and I'm kinda bored right now... so, I'm going with something that popped into my head while showering this morning. But first a little background for the less geeky of my readers.

Recently there has been a big surge in the popularity of a certain Linux Distribution called Ubuntu. One of the major things people talk about is the way they name the releases...

So anyway, this morning in the shower I started thinking of my own names for any upcoming releases they may have.

Power to the people!

I logged into Movable Type this morning, fully intending to write a quick post about this weekend.
How nice it was to get the bike out and ride a little bit.
How bored I was since Leah was out of town.
Maybe an update on Luna's slow climb out of puppy-dom.
But instead I got side tracked with I noticed that my Comments had jumped from 421 to 470 in one weekend...
How did my little blog suddenly get so popular you may ask...
Well you see, I seem to have left comments open on an old post, and the comment spammers got to it!
And well... Considering the subject of most of those comments it's pretty ironic that the title of said post was "Do you have feelings of inadequacy?" from back in the Jetjr.com days...
So I've decided to launch a grass roots effort to cut down on Comment Spamming.
Starting today I will be keeping track of the company's that advertise in this way, and I will be boycotting their products.
It may not be much, but if a whole bunch of people do it, maybe they might notice and hold the people they pay to advertise for them accountable.

Because..."I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this any more!"
