Holy crap!!!
Led (pops)has been immortalized (pops)in another (pops)online comic! They even got the orange shirt, I think he may be leading more of a double life(pops) than we know....
Now I just need to talk him into giving me that "pimp" hat.

Is here once again.
So far I am in one league consisting of Elrod, RT, JetJr, yet another Jason, and his wife Mandy.
Yet another Jason is a co-worker of Jet's and Mandy is his wife, so I do not personally know either of them. From the trash talking they did during the draft they sound like pretty cool people though.
As it stands we all have pretty sweet teams as can be imagined when there are only 6 people in the league.
I drafted last in the order, which ended up working out pretty well for me, since I got to pick twice in a row each time around. My draft order ended up looking like this:
1. Peyton Manning, QB Indianapolis Colts
2. Clinton Portis, RB Washington Redskins
3. Torry Holt, WR St. Louis Rams
4. Julius Jones, RB Dallas Cowboys
5. Antonio Gates, TE San Diego Chargers
6. Randy Moss, WR Oakland Raiders
7. Mike Vanderjagt, K Dallas Cowboys
8. Chicago Bears Defense
9. Reuben Droughns, RB Cleveland Browns
10. Javon Walker, WR Denver Broncos
11. T.J. Houshmandzadeh, WR Cincinnati Bengals
12. Rod Smith, WR Denver Broncos
13. Corey Dillon, RB New England Patriots
14. Daunte Culpepper, QB Miami Dolphins
15. Mike Vrabel, DL New England Patriots
16. Cincinnati Bengals Defense
17. Terrence McGee, DB Buffalo Bills
18. Benjamin Watson, TE New England Patriots
19. Nate Kaeding, K San Diego Chargers
I have never played in a league where we have picked Defensive players, so we will see how that works out.
If you are interested in joining a league, Led and I are looking to set one up for Willys regulars/Area bloggers/Anyone that wants in so let one of us know.
We will have to draft within the next week though, to make it quick.
And I slept through it!!!
At about 2:30 this morning a tanker truck overturned or dropped it's trailer, I have heard both, about 7 blocks from my Apt.
The trailer had just been filled with 8500 Gallons worth of fuel.
The fuel lit on fire, and a half mile area was evacuated, but not my building. I have a theory on that, but I will save it for later.
Pictures and media stories can be found here(pops) and here(pops) and here(pops).
I have also heard that they are skimming fuel out of Skunk Creak, which is about a half block from my Building. On the other side of my building from the fuel spill and fire. Which means the fuel has gone past my building, but they still haven't evacuated it.
It just goes to show what the city thinks of Apt dwellers....
Evacuate the Property tax payers first, and let the rest burn baby.
More updates as I get them.
So.... I have recently been having issues with my car. It started a couple of months ago with it cutting out as I was pulling into the parking lot at my Apt, but started right back up and was fine. I had put some fuel system cleaner in the gas tank a couple of days prior so I just figured something had broken free and temporarily blocked the fuel flow. No big deal.
About 3 weeks later it did it while I was on my way to D&D as I was going through all the Construction down town. I managed to pull off but was unable to get it to fire up again. I was able to get to D&D with the help of Dusk and Kellie, and back to my car with the help of one of the guys from D&D. Once we got there I tried to start my car, and it fired right up and drove fine all the way home.
Two weeks ago today it died on me again. This time I was on Madison on my way home from work. Right behind the Fair Grounds, during the Fair with no where to pull off the road. I ended up coasting into the turn lane for North 29 and calling everyone I know with a truck. After about an hour I got a hold of my Dad (who was just leaving his anniversary dinner with my step mom) and he headed out to get me. When he arrived we decided that rather than pulling the car to my place we would pull it to his work place as he knew someone that did mechanic work in his spare time. Dad had called him and he was willing to take a look at it. After some discussion we decided that replacing the fuel filter and checking to see if the coil was sending out a spark would be about the best things to do. With that my dad threw me the key to his F-150 and said I could drive it until the car was done.
Yeah... that's right. I went from driving a Honda Accord, to an Extended cab F-150.... talk about a parking and gas nightmare.
So while my car decided to run fine the whole time, and thus checking the coil didn't do any good. So $61.63 worth of gas later I traded back on Sunday night. Monday night on my way to Tae Kwan Do, it died again.
Luckily I was right by Best Buy and able to coast into a parking spot and walk to class. After class it fired up fine and got me home. Figuring it wouldn't do it again for another month or so was not a good idea as it died on my way home the next night.
So the mechanic shop it died near is owned by an old acquaintance of my dad's from his Sprint Car racing days and was nice enough to come take a look at it. We got over there and tried to fire it up.... No can do.
I explained that if you let it sit for a while it will usually start back up, and that I had just had the fuel filter replaced. This led him to believe that it was not getting a spark. So he pulled one of the plug wires and jammed it into a bracket to see if the plug was firing... it wasn't. So we tested the coil and it seemed to be working fine.
So... it is either the Igniter or the whole distributor.
According to him "it shouldn't cost more'n a couple hundred to fix at worst" Great... Just.... Great.
Well he was supposed to go get it later that night so they could look at it Yesterday and get me a quote by lunch time.
On my way into work it was still sitting where we had left it.
I heard nothing all day.
It was still sitting there on my way home.
At Tae Kwan Do my dad informs me that the Mechanic told him he couldn't get it to start when he went back so he would have to tow it over to his place.
It was still there this morning.... I have a feeling this is going to cost a lot.
I have a feeling it is time for Sid to buy a new car.
And as such, I have narrowed it down to a couple of choices I found online.
So here is your chance dear Constant Reader, to....

As you all know last night was the opening of Snakes on a Plane, a movie with a title that says it all. To coincide with the premier Fark decided to hold world wide release parties, and I decided to have one here in town at my favorite watering hole, Willys.
The official Snakes on a Motherfarking Fark Party page (pops) now has the info for the Sioux Falls Fark Party on it. If you plan to attend please either let me know through Comments here or through the RSVP form over there.
Update:
It just hit the main page of Fark. Only one RSVP so far, and it was to say they could not make it...
The 8th sign of the coming appocolypse:
Baby Rock Records newest release, Rockabye Baby! Lullaby Renditions of Metallica(pops)
That's right folks... Lullaby Renditions of Metallica songs.
And the 9th sign is that they even have Tool (pops)covered.
And I thought Tribute bands were bad.
I think I'm going to cry, or go burn the building down... I'm leaning towards the later right now.
Dr. S(pops) and I had a talk with Steve and got him to let us host a Fark party!
So Willys (pops)will be hosting a Fark Party in anticipation of the SOAP (pops)release. Any Farker/Reader of my site that RSVP's in advance will get happy hour prices all night long! The latest show I see so far is at the Century (pops)at 9:35 so we will probably get together before the show for a little bit and then head to the theater for the film. Afterward everyone is welcome to head back to Willys to continue the party.
So Friday night Ninja Brandi, Emo girl, and I tested for our Orange belts, and we all passed with flying colors.
My Dad and Stepmother advanced to their Green belts the same night, and I am sure my Lil' Bro did so on Saturday as well.
and Satan ran it
Diamond push up's
Wide stance push up's and normal push ups
mingled with lunges, and squats, and boxer sit ups
then came the punch and kick as fast as you can for a minute things
that lead into the side kick of death things
and then more push ups
followed by arm out to the side spinny windmill things
and even more push ups
all in a half hour
No, I'm not going to be too damn sore to test for my belt on Friday night
not at all
